The Geneva Motor Show is the stage for the grand premiere of the McLaren 720S, in just a few days.

Teasers continue to rain for the new generation Super Series from McLaren. After a small sample of what the McLaren 720S is capable of on the circuit, the British brand decided to reveal the first images of the interior, which hides one of the main innovations of the new car, which McLaren named the Folding Display Driver.

In full display mode, the instrument panel consists of an LCD screen that displays all information, while in slim display mode (activated via a small button) this screen hides under the dashboard, showing only essential information in one second screen, much smaller and narrower:

"The Folding Driver Display is revolutionary in the sense that it allows you to choose either the information displayed on the screen or the position of the instrument panel, thus complementing the driver's preferences."

Mark Vinnels, director of product development at McLaren.

In addition to this system, the McLaren 720S will be equipped with an 8-inch screen in the center console, mounted vertically, where it is possible to control the navigation system, climate control, entertainment, etc.

NOT TO BE MISSED: McLaren and BMW together again

Although official specs have not been revealed, it is almost certain that the new McLaren 720S will resort to an M840T engine with 720 horsepower, 70 more than the 650S.

For now, it is known that the sports car will be able to accelerate to 200 km/h in 7.8 seconds and brake again to 0 km/h in a scant 4.6 seconds. The traditional 0 to 400 meters are completed in just 10.3 seconds.
