BMW M760Li xDrive: The Most Powerful 7 Series Ever

The Munich brand has gained courage and will take to Geneva the most powerful 7-Series ever, the BMW M760Li XDrive.

We thought that BMW wouldn't have the daring to launch a high-performance version of the BMW 7 Series. In fact, it wasn't totally daring, because this new model is not a real M7 – it's the limousine (Li) version and by It would therefore be far-fetched to call it M7. But in terms of performance it's almost “her for her”, and it's also the first Bavarian model in this segment to receive the initial M Performance.

As for the engine, we found a 6.6 liter twin-turbo V12 unit capable of delivering 600hp (@5,500rpm) and 800Nm of maximum torque available as early as 1,500rpm. These numbers allow the BMW M760Li XDrive to be a true sprinter: 0-100km/h in just 3.9 seconds. As for the top speed, unfortunately, it was electronically limited to 250km/h.

An important ally of this colossal power is the all-wheel drive system (xDrive) which is coupled to an automatic dual-clutch transmission with 8 speeds and paddles on the steering wheel (no manual transmission option). In order for the power output to be effective, we found 20-inch wheels fitted with sticky Michelin Pilot Super Sports tyres.

This BMW M760Li XDrive is just a matter of not having lost any weight. After all, this is not an M7 and the brand itself wants its customers to be aware of it. Even so, to assist in the handling of this luxury model, the German brand has included a sports suspension and continues to offer the Active Comfort Drive and Road Preview system, as found in the current 7 Series. is similar to those found in the other M models.
