The world of specialized tuning companies has been running wild as of late, the hidden potential in modern engines is increasing. And today RA is pleased to present you the MCChip Audi RS5. A "beast" from the south bank of the Rhine in Cologne, which is offered in 3 levels of happiness for lovers of German muscle. According to the MCChip motto and I quote, " more performance and more torque give more driving enjoyment ”. We couldn't agree more.
Starting with the base, an Audi RS5 with its 4.2 FSI V8 and equipped with the S-Tronic 7-speed gearbox, MCChip offers us right from the start with the installation of a volumetric compressor with, let us say, large dimensions.
But let's unveil the 3 power proposals made available by MCChip.
Stage 1 for the MCChip Audi RS5 comprises the aforementioned volumetric compressor and its intercooler, as well as a reprogramming of the ECU and, as a complement, an exhaust system developed by MCChip. In this first phase, the MCChip Audi RS5 gets a maximum power of 550 horsepower and 550Nm of maximum torque, the price proposed for this kit is €19,999.
But as in these companies there is always someone who thinks that a little more power was still possible. Precisely based on this need, MCChip comes with Stage 2, which includes Stage 1, but which adds sport catalysts and an even more aggressive ECU reprogramming. Leaving the MCChip Audi RS5, with a power of 580 horsepower and 565Nm of torque, everything is already known for a price, which in this case amounts to €23,999.
But if for you, the power is never too much, no problem either, MCChip leaves the best reserved for the end with its Stage 3, the last level of madness, it doesn't add any extra component, but where the compressor pressure and the reprogramming of the ECU is changed, to put the MCChip Audi RS5 with the pleasure of having 600 horsepower and 590Nm of torque, within reach of €26,999.
For all power levels, top speed is electronically limited to 320km/H.
