New teaser lets you hear the successor to the Nissan 370Z

The campaign to anticipate the successor of the Nissan 370Z is already long, with the Japanese brand having already released several teasers through which it “raises the veil” on the prototype that anticipates the successor of what is currently the oldest model of its gamma.

In the most recent of these teasers we were not only able to review the profile of the Japanese sporting future, see its redesigned “Z” logo and the wheels that will equip it, but we also had the opportunity to confirm that it will have a manual gearbox and… to hear it!

Well, if our ears are "well tuned", and taking into account the various rumors, it seems that the successor of Nissan 370Z (which is speculated to be called 400Z) should use a V6 engine, probably the same already used by the Infiniti Q50 and Q60 Red Sport 400.

Another doubt that persists about this model is related to the platform it will use. As it is unlikely that it will have an exclusive platform (given the low sales), it is most likely that it will share the base with the Infiniti Q50 and Q60, which in addition to having a V6 feature rear-wheel drive.

This and other questions should be answered when presenting the prototype of the successor to the 370Z, which is scheduled for the next 16th of September. Until then, we can always remember the history of the predecessors of this future model with videos like the one Nissan released with the entire “Z Dynasty”.
