Ferrari F70: First Speculative Images

Preview of the future Ferrari F70 by an Australian designer left us dreaming…

Ferrari has been keeping under lock and key the design of its next big reveal: the Ferrari F70. The name is not yet definitive, but this has been the nomenclature used in the specialized press. It has been such a closely guarded secret that the only thing known about its design is very little or nothing.

However, it was enough for an Australian designer to bring us some very successful renders on the eventual final look of the Italian house's next masterpiece.

This is an essential model for Ferrari, not in economic terms but in terms of image. After the huge "flop" that goes by the name of the Ferrari F50, and the Ferrari Enzo never having reached the "wow!" that achieved the acclaimed Ferrari F40 – despite all the technological solutions employed – Ferrari is more than anything that the new F70 is something memorable, and above all that it rekindles the flame that has been lacking in the last standard-bearers of the house of Maranello .

Everything indicates that this will be the pinnacle of everything Ferrari knows how to do. It will be the showcase of all the brand's know-how. The top of the top!

And this “top of the top” couldn't come with less than an atmospheric V12 engine – all the saints be praised! – for a final power in the order of 800hp. As if 800 hp were little, Ferrari, in order to increase the availability of the engine and the speed of its response, will equip the F70 with two more small electric motors with around 120 hp of combined power. The sum of all these engines gives the beautiful figure of 900 and such horsepower! Plus 20 minus 20…
