The Nissan Juke, controversial for being "strange" for its dubious lines of acceptance, already makes Honda itch.
After all, Nissan's mini-suv wasn't a long shot. The Honda Jazz now has to eat strong porridges and become an irreverent teenager, so that it doesn't fall victim to bullying when entering the mini-suv segment.
The news was recently announced by Honda CEO Takanobu Ibo, who stated that the brand was developing a compact crossover. This new Honda boy promises to stand up to all of his fashion segment opponents and fill a segment void for the brand – by standing below the CR-V, this anti-Juke will be his little brother.
About the engines and design nothing is known so far, but we know that the Honda Jazz will be the basis for several models, among which this mini-suv – the Japanese giant promises to build at least three models based on the utility.
It's also unclear what Honda's response to the more vitamin-filled version of the Nissan Juke and whether this upcoming Jazz-based mini-suv will want to seek out those little titans face-to-face.
This Honda announcement also takes advantage of the tide of news that started with the release of the Type-R version of the Civic, which will arrive in 2015 and features a turbo engine whose power is expected to reach 300hp. Good winds from the East!
