As you may also know, the Geneva Motor Show is currently taking place, and Jaguar's main novelty is the new Jaguar XF Sportbrake! After so much crying, it's time to wipe the tears and smile hugely at the familiar variant of the British luxury brand. She is really charming.
This new variant is based on the restyling made to the XF model, thus creating a more aggressive and elegant posture. But don't think that the task was made easier by having the base already built, get to know that starting from the B pillar, Sportbrake is entirely new. As it is 5 mm longer than the four-door variant, its weight has increased by around 70 kg, but it has gained 10 liters of luggage space (550 liters), with up to 1675 liters of cargo space being added to the rear seats. batting.
For those who don't know yet, XF Sportbrake debuts a new rear air suspension that self-levels the vehicle during cargo transport. The normal would be the loss of some dynamic characteristics, but Jaguar has already guaranteed that there will not be any kind of loss. The engine range will comprise two diesel blocks, a 2.2-liter 4-cylinder and a 3.0-liter 6-cylinder. Both have a Stop&Start system and are associated with an eight-speed automatic transmission with shift paddles on the steering wheel.
In fact, we love the new Jaguar XF Sportbrake, it would be something that we wouldn't mind driving at all, in fact it would be a huge pleasure… But it is also true that Jaguar had to “commonize” its offer to be able to face the crisis.
