After in 2020 the Abarth 595 having seen two special versions arrive — the 595 Monster Energy Yamaha and the 595 ScorpioneOro —, in 2021 the small transalpine pocket rocket sees the range being updated, with new colors, materials, stylistic details and technology.
However, there are things that remain, such as the downscaling of the range into four variants: 595, Turismo, Competizione and Esseesse. Little Abarth's heart didn't change either; it is also the 1.4 T-Jet with three power levels: 145 hp in the 595 version, 165 hp in the Turismo and 180 hp in the Competizione and Esseesse variants.
The 1.4 T-Jet is associated with a manual gearbox and is available, as an option, with a sequential robotic transmission. Exclusive to the Competizione and Esseesse versions are the Garrett GT1446 turbine, the mechanical self-locking differential, the Koni FSD shock absorbers and the Brembo brakes with fixed aluminum calipers.

The renewed range of the Abarth 595 features the UConnect infotainment system as standard, accessible via a 7″ touchscreen and now featuring a new opening and closing interface. As an option, we can also have satellite navigation and the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto systems.

Also available as an option is the BeatsAudio™ sound system with a total output power of 480W, eight-channel digital amplifier. It comprises two dome tweeters located on the front pillars, two 165mm midwoofers on the front doors, two 165mm full-range speakers on the rear panels and a 200mm subwoofer placed centrally in the spare wheel compartment in the boot .
The interior of the Abarth 595 now has a new selector for the Sport mode that is now called “Scorpion mode”. When selected, this drive mode affects torque output, electric steering regulation and accelerator pedal sensitivity.
Abarth 595C Tourism
Specifying by version, the updated 595 Tourism now has renovated and exclusive leather seats, available in several colors, including a new Brown Helmet.
THE 595 compete gets a new matte color called Azul Rally, inspired by the Fiat 131 Rally of the 70s and new 17″ wheels inspired by the “Deltona” (Lancia Delta HF Integrale) of the 90s. There is also a specific, sportier exterior decoration, which is available in combination with the new Rally Blue or Scorpione Black. Inside, the dashboard is covered in Alcantara, there are new leather seats and the gearbox lever is made of carbon fiber.

Finally, at the top of the range, the 595 Esseesse, we find new titanium tailpipes for the Akrapovič exhaust system.
