After the launch of the edition commemorating the 30th anniversary of the BMW M5 – 30 Jahre M5 – the Bavarian manufacturer once again presents fans of the iconic model with another special edition, the BMW M5 Pure Metal Edition.
Performance is provided by the well-known V8 4.4 TwinTurbo engine with 600 horsepower and 700 nm of torque, with the same power and torque values as the previous 30 Jahre M5 special edition. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes just 3.9 seconds and the top speed is an incredible 305 km/h. The BMW M5 Pure Metal Edtion is also equipped with Competition and M Driver packs, sportier suspension, Active M differential and M brakes in carbon and ceramic.SEE ALSO: This is the 30th anniversary edition of the BMW M5
Externally, as the name of the edition indicates, the BMW M5 Pure Metal Edition has the Individual Pure Metal Silver Metallic exterior paintwork accompanied by 20-inch double-spoke M Power wheels. In terms of the interior, this edition comes equipped with black Merino leather and Silverstone stitching, accompanied by finishing in Dark Aluminum Trace and a nameplate for this special edition limited to 20 units only.
The BMW M5 Pure Metal Edition will only be marketed in South Africa at a price of around €130,000.
