Skoda Karoq. The first images of the new compact SUV

As we had already mentioned in the preview of the new Skoda Karoq, the successor to the Yeti is getting ready to be officially unveiled next Thursday. The new model was the subject of an in-depth review – which also includes the name… -, and maybe that's why the Czech brand chose not to wait until the 18th and already reveal some details, such as the luminous signature.

At the front, LED optics – available from the Ambition equipment level – help create a unique pattern. The rear light groups, with the traditional “C”-shaped design, also use LED technology.

Inside, for the first time, a Skoda model will have a digital instrument panel (in the upper left corner of the image below), which can be customized to the driver's preferences. In the center, a touchscreen with the second generation of Skoda's infotainment, navigation and connectivity system.

Below, a glimpse of the seven-speed DSG gear knob – with 4×4 traction system and five driving modes – that equips the more powerful 2.0 TDI version with 190 hp. The Skoda Karoq will also be available with a six-speed manual gearbox.
