Well, brands try to hide their new models until the day of the official presentation but it seems that it is impossible… As much as they try to go unnoticed, there is always someone ready to end the mystery created around a new car. By the way, Mercedes was even doing a good job of hiding the new A-Class, a model that will be officially unveiled in March at the Geneva Motor Show.

For a long time now, the most compact model of the Stuttgart brand promised to revolutionize the market, and although the images made available by Mercedes were too “concept”, we have to admit that after watching this video there is no doubt:

The Class A will crush the competition.

Ladies are going to have a problem, either they give up the less-than-consensual monocab shapes and embrace the dynamic shapes of the new generation, or they'll have to look for another model to feel happy. The new A-Class comes to compete head-to-head with the BMW 1 Series and the Audi A3, clearly assuming itself as a sports car.

Initially, the customer will be able to opt for a 1.6 liter gasoline block, with powers between 122 and 156 hp, and a 1.8 liter turbodiesel, proposed in the 109 hp A180 CDI and 136 hp A200 CDI versions of power.

The model we see in the video is a five-door hatchback – this will be presented in Geneva – but there will also be a more aggressive three-door model, which will only be marketed later, most likely only for 2013. But it seems clear that the Class A seen in the video is a model prepared by AMG, this due to the design of the front bumper, air intakes, large alloy wheels and side skirts. If not, then I don't even want to imagine what the AMG model will be like!

Mercedes-Benz has kept the lid tightly closed in relation to the AMG version of the A-Class, but the latest rumors claim that the German preparer is preparing to produce a compact “fulminant”, with four-wheel drive and equipped with an engine. four-cylinder turbo gasoline, capable of producing 320 hp. This toy promises to win many hearts...

At least ours has already conquered!
