The Italian brand's CEO defined maximum performance as the Lamborghini Urus' main objective. After all, it's a Lamborghini we're talking about.
It is unusual for the SUV design process to focus largely on performance, unless the manufacturer in question is Lamborghini. As had already been announced, the Lamborghini Urus will feature a 4.0 bit-turbo V8 engine, the first turbo engine in the brand's history. However, the CEO of the Italian brand left open the possibility of the SUV coming to integrate a second engine, in other words, a hybrid engine, a debut in Lamborghini models. “It's one of the obvious scenarios,” he says. The Lamborghini Urus is scheduled for launch in 2018.
