The new Lexus competition car will make its European debut in Geneva next week.
The new Lexus LS 500h is not the only new addition to the Japanese brand for the Geneva Motor Show. In addition to focusing on the production model range, Lexus also wants to reinforce its global image among racing enthusiasts and increase its focus on motorsport in 2017.
As such, alongside the hybrid saloon will be Lexus' new competition car, the Lexus RC F GT3 . This model, now FIA homologated, will participate in the GTD class of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship Series (USA), the GT300 class of the Super GT Series (Japan) and a range of selected races in Europe.

In Europe, Farnbacher Racing and Emil Frey Racing – teams that competed with the RC F GT3 prototype last year – will continue to develop the car throughout the season, with the aim of competing at a higher level in the future in GT3 races. «old continent».
The Lexus RC F GT3 is equipped with a 5.4 liter V8 engine with more than 500 hp, coupled with a 6-speed sequential gearbox. Remember that last year Lexus became the first Asian brand to win a VLN endurance championship race at the Nürburgring Nordschleife with an RC F GT.
