Lexus IS transformed into a display with 42 thousand LED lights

Positioned in a straight line one after the other, these LED lights exceed 800 meters in length.

Developed in collaboration between Lexus and distributor VEVO, the Lexus LIT IS was created especially for the music video by artist Dua Lipa. All 41,999 LED lights covering the body of the Japanese saloon were applied by hand. These LED's turn the Lexus LIT IS into a bright screen that reacts to the rhythm of music and is capable of projecting images.

This system works in three distinct modes. In the first – attract – graphics are projected that highlight the shapes of the Lexus LIT IS, while the second mode – Music Viz – identifies the rhythm of the music and projects a synchronized image. already the way gesture lets you control animations with gestures via a motion sensor.
