Trainer Hennessey celebrated 25 years of existence in style. American way!
Successor to the Ford F-150 Velociraptor 600, the F-150 Velociraptor 700 was the model chosen by Hennessey to celebrate its 25th anniversary. And like the previous versions, it has an American-style power upgrade. Instead of the standard 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 turbo engine in the standard version, Hennessey opted for a powerful 5.0-liter V8 block with a 2.9-liter volumetric compressor, new injectors, XXL intercooler and a handcrafted exhaust system, for a total of 714 hp at 6,000 rpm!SEE ALSO: Hennessey Venom GT Spyder is the «fastest convertible in the world»
To handle all this power, the preparer made a series of improvements to the chassis and adopted a long-haul Fox suspension. On the outside, the F-150 Velociraptor 700 got new front and rear bumpers (available with an LED lightbar), 20-inch wheels and vinyl designs on the rear.
Everything indicates that the production of the Hennessey F-150 Velociraptor 700 will be limited to 25 units, with the release date yet to be revealed. Acceleration from 0-100km/h? It has not yet been released but it should be around 4.4 seconds. More than enough to embarrass many sportsmen from good families…
