The Korean brand has just presented the first images of the new Kia Rio. Its world premiere is scheduled for the Paris Motor Show.
Kia continues to advance in the entire line, this time in the SUV segment with the new Kia Rio. A very important model for the Korean brand's expansion plans in the old continent due to the sales volume this segment (B) represents.
In the aesthetic field, more than reinventing, Kia preferred to reaffirm its main lines in this 4th generation in Rio: 'Tiger's Nose' grille, creased waistline and more tense shapes. The big news are the model's proportions: +15 mm in length, +10 mm in wheelbase and +5 mm in width and -5 mm in height for a sportier look. These new exterior quotas will naturally have an impact on the habitability and quality of life on board.
The interior, unsurprisingly, follows the trends of the brand's latest innovations (Sportage, Sorento and Cee’d): integration of the touchscreen into the console, reduction in touch controls and straighter lines. According to the brand, this aesthetic improvement was accompanied by an increase in the quality of materials and care in assembly. As for engines, the brand has not yet released any information, although the use of the most recent engines of the Korean group headed by Hyundai is expected.
