Some claim that the Porsche 911 GT2 RS will claim the title of fastest production car on the Nürburgring.
Currently, that title belongs to the Lamborghini Huracan Performante (6:52) – a time that was not exempt from some suspicions. On the Porsche side, the fastest model title ever belongs to the 918 Spyder (6:57).
One of the drivers who has already got behind the wheel of Flacht's "new beast" was Mark Webber, former Formula 1 driver and winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
According to sources close to the German driver, the 911 surpassed 332 km/h in some sections of the Nürburgring.
If that's true, it's yet another figure indicating what we're all hoping for: that the Nürburgring throne will have a new tenant in the coming months.
