Every year, one of the great attractions of the Geneva Motor Show is the preparers. It is in Geneva that the most renowned tuning houses in the world usually present their most hardcore models, and the 87th edition of the event was no exception. Here are some examples:Gemballa Avalanche
Gemballa, one of the best-known German makers of Porsche models, brought to Geneva a model based on the current Porsche 911 Turbo (991). More than the 820 hp of power and 950 Nm of torque, it's the biblically proportioned rear wing and four equally eye-catching tailpipes that catch the eye.
Techart Grand GT
It wasn't just at the Porsche stand that we could see the new generation of the Panamera. Techart decided to give a sportier look (inside and out) to the German saloon and called it the GrandGT. In addition to the usual aerodynamic appendages, the GrandGT got a sports exhaust system and a power kit, the values of which were not revealed.
Brabus Mercedes-AMG C63 S Convertible
As is Brabus's prerogative, the preparer did not want to leave its credits in the hands of others and presented in Geneva a muscular version of the Mercedes-AMG C63 S Cabriolet. The improvements in performance – acceleration from 0-100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds (-0.4 seconds than the original version) and a top speed of 320 km/h – even forced to change the speedometer dial.
Mansory 4XX Syracuse Spider
Mansory did it all again... and the victim was the Ferrari 488 Spider. The German tuning house decided to give up the traditional rosso corsa bodywork and dressed the sports car in darker tones, 20-inch gold wheels and a bodykit thinking about aerodynamics. In the mechanical chapter, the 3.9 liter V8 engine now has 780 hp of power, allowing a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds. Not bad!
ABT Audi R8 V10
Altogether there were four models that ABT Sportline took to Geneva, but none shone as bright as the Audi R8. Among the main innovations are the new front and rear bumpers, carbon side skirts and a new stainless steel exhaust system responsible for increasing power by 20 hp.
Liberty Walk Ferrari 458
It was with a lowered and highly modified model (in its style, therefore…) that the Japanese Liberty Walk presented itself in Geneva. This Ferrari 458 Italia also gained 20-inch wheels and an exhaust system that shouldn't let it go unnoticed.
AC Schnitzer BMW i8
Not content with the external appearance of the current BMW i8, the German preparer showed the public and journalists its own interpretation of the sports car. In this new life, the BMW is 25mm lower at the front and 20mm at the rear, has AC1 wheels in two tones and a set of aerodynamic appendages in carbon fiber.
Hamann Range Rover Evoque Convertible
