The new Ferrari F12tdf is the latest addition to the Maranello house. Limited to 799 units, in addition to an overwhelming design, it offers breathtaking performances.

It's not “GTO” or “Speciale”. The Italian brand's long-awaited model was dubbed the “tdf” in honor of the Tour de France, the endurance race that Ferrari dominated in the 50s and 60s. Based on the F12 Berlinetta, the 6.3 V12 engine now produces 40 hp more, for a total of 780hp and 705Nm of torque. Thanks to this upgrade, the Ferrari F12tdf is able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 340 km/h. Breathe…

Compared to the F12 Berlinetta, the F12tdf benefits from an updated version of the faster 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox with shorter gears. Also noteworthy is the active rear axle, named Virtual Short Wheelbase, which allows the wheels to turn. And speaking of wheels, it is worth noting the increase in the width of the front tires, which allows for better lateral acceleration in corners.

According to the brand, the F12tdf is much more aerodynamic thanks to a rear diffuser, a longer aileron and a steeper rear window. At 200 km/h, the sports car generates 230 kg of downforce, an increase of 107 kg over the Berlinetta, which translates into greater control in corners and speed on the straights. As for the interior, it is marked by the elegance and simplicity that the brand has accustomed us to.

There is still no information on the price, the only certainty being that it will be substantially more expensive than the F12 Berlinetta.
