Peugeot 2008 Concept: Another rival for the Nissan Juke

Anonim

Peugeot presents the Peugeot 2008 Concept in Paris. A small "cross-over" will rival the Nissan Juke.

Cross-overs are definitely in fashion. If there were any doubts about that, now it has definitely ceased to exist. In Paris alone, two serious competitors were introduced to the Nissan Juke. One by Audi, which will be the Q2, and now the 2008 Peugeot Concept. A model that is nothing more than a 208 with its “pants rolled up” and with a haughty look on the higher sidewalks and deeper holes that populate our cities.

Underneath the bonnet of the muscled 2008 lives a small 1.2 liter 3-cylinder Turbo capable of generating a nice 108hp of power, and that promises low consumption and emission levels.

The production of the 2008 is expected to start as early as 2013, based on the 208 platform, and that it will be produced in France, Brazil and China.
