After the announcement made by Elon Musk, last week, that Tesla would be present at the new Motor Show in Basel, Switzerland, with a “surprise”, the curtain falls. A few hours before opening to the public, the new generation Tesla Roadster makes its first appearance on European soil.
With the doors of the Swiss salon only opening tomorrow, the 6th of September, the “presentation” of the future Roadster ended up taking place in a private ceremony. But that ended up on the social network Twitter, with images of the car itself.
Presented in pristine white, the only question is whether or not this will be a fully operational prototype. Or if, on the contrary, it is just a showcar.

The future Tesla Roadster is scheduled for release, according to Elon Musk, in 2020, with truly “pornographic” attributes, among which, an acceleration capability from 0 to 96.5 km/h in just 1.9s, in addition to a range of around 998 km ! — it remains to be seen whether they are feasible...
Also in the first presentation of the model, in November 2017, in the US, Musk guaranteed that the Tesla Roadster will be the fastest and fastest production model on the market , even though it is exclusively electric.
