2006 Ford GT goes up for auction with just 17 km. Yes, Seventeen!

It's impossible not to continue to be surprised by some cars that go up for auction. The reason is usually always the same. What little or no use has been made of them during all their years of life. But why?

Who in their right mind buys a McLaren F1, a Ford Focus RS, a Lancia Delta HF Integrale, a Honda S2000, a Ferrari 599 GTO, among a few others, and just doesn't take advantage of them?

For a true petrolhead this is inconceivable. Right?

This time we have a 2006 Ford GT, which goes up for auction with nothing less than 17 km (!) , probably the same with which it was delivered to its owner in 2006.

The unit that is now up for auction remained idle for more than 10 years, still having all the plastic it came from the factory.

Of the more than 4000 units that were sold of this generation of Ford GT, only 726 were configured with the body in white. Underneath the bonnet is a supercharged 5.4 liter V8 with manual gearbox.

RM Sotheby's estimates that this 2006 Ford GT will reach 300,000 euros at auction. If confirmed, it will still be a value lower than that currently requested by the new Ford GT, more than 350 thousand euros.
