The Peugeot 205 was one of the protagonists of the “golden age” of rallying, and now you can have a prototype of the French rally car in your garage.
There is no doubt that Group B has provided rally fans with some of the best moments in the history of the discipline, but unfortunately being able to acquire one of these models, such as the Peugeot 205 T16, is a difficult task – not only because they are rare but also for the exorbitant price of each. So this group of enthusiasts in the UK decided it was worth sacrificing a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI to build a replica of the Peugeot 205 T16 Evo.
The car was built last year as a sort of tribute to the French rally car, and is equipped with a 2.0 liter turbo engine with 405 horsepower, a dog-leg manual gearbox and all-wheel drive system. According to the seller, "the prototype is fun to drive and quite fast, and it also has a smooth, predictable ride."
