The Opel Ampera-e has a flat battery pack placed under the floor of the cabin, which maximizes the dimensions inside the cabin (space to seat five people) and guarantees a luggage compartment with a volumetry comparable to that of a B-segment model. The German model will be equipped with the latest Opel OnStar roadside and emergency assistance system, in addition to the infotainment system.The specifications for the new Opel electric model are not yet known, but according to the German brand, the Opel Ampera-e "will have a range superior to that of most current electric vehicles and will be offered at an affordable price".
