It has been one of the news of the month. The launch of the Tesla Cybertruck pickup has deserved hundreds of news, hours of discussion, and many jokes on the internet.
Nobody was indifferent to its polyhedral lines or the numbers announced by the brand led by Elon Musk.
Dubbed futuristic by some, and basic and unfinished by others, we've gathered some cars and other objects that remind us of Cybertruck's design.
1. UMM
Bent plates and polyhedral shapes. Solutions that Tesla adopted on its Cybertruck, but that UMM had already used… 40 years earlier!
2. Concrete
This Brazilian pick-up was introduced in 1978 and used a VW 1600 engine. The aesthetic similarities are evident.
3. WALLY
If the Tesla Cybertruck were a boat, it would be a Wally Power 118, one of the most elegant boats today, immortalized in the movie The Island (2005). It works better without wheels, don't you think?
4. Lotus Spirit
It was Elon Musk himself who revealed that the Lotus Esprit was the inspirational muse for Cybertruck. For the rest, a well-known model from the 007 saga, and from the American brand's infotainment systems.
5. Citroen Karin
Once again, the polyhedral forms making school in the automobile sector. Here through the Citroën Karin concept.
6. Total Recall (Movie)
Again, the movies. This time a vehicle from the movie Total Recall with Arnold Schwarzenegger in the role of Douglas Quaid, a construction worker who discovers that he is after all a secret agent.
7. Shopping cart
Not even the Lidl supermarket chain in Portugal missed the opportunity. Through a post on Facebook, he circulated this image. The similarities speak for themselves.
