The time has gone by when after we got our driver's license, we just wanted a car that would run. It didn't matter if it was pretty or ugly, a "scraper" or a "chocolate maker", you had to walk! Over the years, many of us have already dumped our first car, resulting (years later) in a mix of regret and dismay.
Not so with all young people. Right now, with the Chinese student community in the U.S.A., the “fashion” is to demand supercars from parents (see video). These kids are known as The Rich Kids of Supercars – that's how they like to be treated. All of them are rich, they study at the best universities and… they ride in the best cars. It is customary to organize meetings to show off their sports.
A simple student meeting automatically turns into an exotic car show. Lamborghini Aventador, Bentley Continental GT and Ferrari California are just a few examples. In Dubai, the story of young people with large-capacity cars is also repeated.
