The SEAT Leon Cupra is getting ready to receive another 10 hp of power and, in the ST (van) variant, a new all-wheel drive system.

Presented with the new SEAT Leon, the Spanish brand now points out batteries for the sports variant, which should be launched in mid-2017.

In addition to the (small) aesthetic and technical innovations that cut across the Leon range, the Cupra version also had the right to dust. Therefore, the big bet is again the power increase of the 2.0 TSI engine, which will debit 300 hp.

We remind you that the current SEAT Leon Cupra 290 accelerates from 0-100 km/h in just 5.6 seconds and reaches a maximum speed of 250 km/h, values ​​that should be surpassed by the version that will arrive next year.

In addition to an increase in power in the sport hatchback, SEAT confirmed that it is working on a ST version (van) with 4Drive all-wheel drive system – the same that equips the Leon X-Perience but with a sportier tuning. This system features the fifth generation of the Haldex clutch differential. Will SEAT take the Cupra van to the Nürburgring again?
