Flyin’ Miata has done it again and put a V8 engine on the small Japanese roadster.
For several months now, Flyin’ Miata, a tuner based in Colorado (USA), has been working night and day on a project that is at least sui-generis… to assemble a GM LS3 V8 in a fourth-generation (ND) Mazda MX-5. According to Flyin' Miata, despite all the changes, this MX-5 will weigh little more than the series model – the preparer estimates around 1130 kg in the total set and a weight distribution of 47/53 (rear /forward).
