It is next month that the new Formula 1 World Championship season starts. As such, the cars that will participate in the premier race of world motorsport are starting to be revealed in drops.NOT TO BE MISSED: Where do Formula 1 cars go after finishing the championship?
Regarding the 2016 season there are changes in the regulations, amended with the aim of improving lap times by up to five seconds. Among the main changes are the increase in the front wing width to 180 cm, the reduction of the rear wing to 150 mm, an increase in the width of the four tires (to generate greater grip) and the new minimum weight limit, which rises to the 728 kg.
For all that, the new season promises faster cars and a fierce dispute for the top places. These are the "machines" that will be on the starting grid of the Formula 1 World Cup.
Ferrari SF70H
After a season a little short of expectations, the Italian manufacturer wants to return to Mercedes in the title dispute. Returning are experienced Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen.
Force India VJM10
Mexican Sergio Perez and Frenchman Esteban Ocon make up the pair of drivers who will try to take Force India to the podium at the Formula 1 World Championship, after a surprising fourth place last year.
Haas VF-17
Judging by their performance last season, the first for Haas in the Formula 1 World Cup, the American team will also be one of the teams to be considered for the coming season among the non-victory candidates. According to Guenther Steiner, responsible for the team, the new car is lighter and more efficient in aerodynamic terms.
McLaren MCL32
Orange is the new black… And no, we are not talking about the American television series. This was the color chosen by McLaren to attack next season. In addition to the brighter tones, the single-seater still has a Honda engine. At the controls of the McLaren MCL32 will be Fernando Alonso and young Stoffel Vandoorne.
Mercedes W08
According to Mercedes itself, the new regulations will reduce the gap between the German manufacturer and the competition. For that reason – and in addition to the removal of defending champion Nico Rosberg, who was replaced by the Finn Valtteri Bottas – the revalidation of the title achieved last season will be anything but an easy task for Mercedes.
Red Bull RB13

Renault RS17
The French brand, which last year returned to Formula 1 with its own team, this season debuts a completely new car, including the RE17 engine. The goal is to improve the ninth position achieved in 2016.
Sauber C36
The Swiss team competes again in the Formula 1 World Cup with a single-seater with a Ferrari engine but with a new design, which could catapult Sauber to higher places in the standings.
Toro Rosso STR12
For the 2017 season, Toro Rosso will once again use an original Renault engine for its single-seater, after having opted for a Ferrari engine last season. Another novelty comes down to the aesthetic part: thanks to the new shades of blue, the similarities with the Red Bull car will be a thing of the past.
Williams FW40
Williams could not resist and were the first team to officially unveil their car, a car that references the 40th anniversary of the British manufacturer. Felipe Massa and Lance Stroll are responsible for improving the 5th place last season.
