Equipped with the dual clutch DSG gearbox, the Volkswagen Golf GTI Clubsport fulfills 0-100km/ in just 5.9 seconds.

The Golf GTI celebrates 40 years but we are the ones to smile about. The brand decided to mark the date with the launch of a special edition Clubsport, presented this week at the Frankfurt Motor Show. As with previous commemorative versions of the Golf GTI's anniversary, Clubsport also received an increase in power, specifically tuned suspensions and distinctive interior details.

On the outside, the Golf GTI Clubsport makes the difference through exclusive details such as the redesigned front bumper, aerodynamic appendages and details such as a black Clubsport bar, evocative of the first generation Golf GTI. The 18-inch wheels are also new.

Speaking of the power unit, we find again the 2.0 TSI engine this time with 265 hp – making it the most powerful Golf GTI ever. Thanks to the overboost function, the power increases by 1o% for a few seconds, to values close to 290 CV.
