Alfa Romeo 4C will have 240 hp - [First image of the interior revealed]

The opening day of the Geneva Motor Show to the press is almost upon us and Alfa Romeo didn't want to waste any more time and showed some more images of its new Alfa Romeo 4C, among them, the first official image of the car's interior.

The 4C is one of the most anticipated models of recent months and, luckily, this painful wait has its days numbered. Despite having said that the Alfa Romeo would come with 300 hp of power, the Italian brand has already made it known that the engine used will be an evolution of the four-cylinder of the Giulieta Quadrifoglio Verde, this time with 1.75 liters of capacity and 240 hp of power.

The production version of the 4C will preserve the dimensions of the prototype presented in 2011, that is, it will be 4 meters long and 2.4 meters wheelbase. However, the bodywork will not be quite the same, instead of using carbon fiber exclusively, it will now have a mixture of aluminum with carbon fiber to control production costs.

The new Alfa sports car will be manufactured at Maserati's factory in Modena, Italy, and an annual production volume of around 2,500 copies is expected. To our delight, the Alfa Romeo 4C will be launched on the European market later this year.
