The biggest Ferrari exhibition ever in Portugal is coming

As you know, Ferrari celebrates its 70th anniversary this year. A moment that the Museu do Caramulo makes a point of highlighting, and for that reason it will open its biggest exhibition of 2017, next Saturday, entitled “Ferrari: 70 Years of Motorized Passion”.

This exhibition, which has been in preparation for over a year, will be the largest exhibition dedicated to Ferrari ever held in Portugal, bringing together a luxury line-up both for its rarity and for its historical value.

This exhibition will bring together the best Ferraris in Portugal, some of the rarest in the world, such as the 195 Inter from 1951 or the 500 Mondial from 1955. It is an absolutely unique occasion to see this authentic constellation of Ferrari stars, that most likely will never be together again in the same place, so we advise all fans not to waste this opportunity.

The exhibition will comprise models such as the Ferrari 275 GTB Competizione, Ferrari 250 Lusso, Ferrari Daytona, Ferrari Dino, Ferrari F40 or Ferrari Testarossa. But one of the stars of the exhibition will certainly be the 1955 Ferrari 500 Mondial (in the images), “barchetta” type, with a Scaglietti bodywork, a model that until now has been kept in a private collection, far from the eyes and knowledge of even the specialized public.

Whether on the road or in competition, all these models were, at the time, disruptive and innovative, and still today fill the imagination of many enthusiasts. The objective of the exhibition will be to tell the story of Maranello's house through models from the brand's several decades, starting right from its beginning, with the 1951 Ferrari 195 Inter Vignale, currently the oldest Ferrari model in Portugal and the first brand tourism model entering our country.

The exhibition can be seen at the Museu do Caramulo until the 29th of October.
