The fourth generation Suzuki Swift and the new Sport version were unveiled at a French dealer.
The Japanese brand is already in the development phase of the new Suzuki Swift, as proved during a presentation at a French dealership. As expected, the city will be part of the brand's new design philosophy, debuted with the Suzuki Baleno.
Compared to the previous model, the fourth generation of the Japanese model has significant differences across the line, especially in the headlights and front grille. The Suzuki Swift Sport (in white), as the name suggests, has a sportier body, redesigned air intakes, a larger grille and more prominent exhaust outlets. Inside, both models have a minimalist instrument panel with a revamped entertainment and navigation system.

As for powertrains, the new Suzuki Swift is expected to come equipped with a 1.2 liter atmospheric DUALJET engine, 90 hp and 120 Nm, and a 1.0 liter supercharged engine variant of the Suzuki Baleno, with 112 hp and 170 Nm of binary. In the Sport version, everything points to the brand adopting a 1.4 liter 4-cylinder turbo block with 140 hp and 220 Nm.The Suzuki Swift is expected to be presented later this year, with its arrival at dealerships taking place in mid-2017. The Sport version is only scheduled for the end of next year.
