Mark Higgins once again set the record for series cars at the Isle of Man TT Road Course. The chosen model was the Subaru WRX STI.
British rally champion Mark Higgins made history again at the mythical Isle of Man TT Road Course. One of the most traditional road speed events in the world.
This year, Higgins managed to beat his own record set in 2011 in 30.7 seconds. The average speed of this lap was 187.40km/h. The record for the fastest series car on the Isle of Man was thus set at 19 minutes and 26 seconds.

The Subaru WRX STI was the model chosen in its latest version. With the exception of mandatory changes by the FIA, such as the Roll-bar, the competition seat, suspensions and a more audible exhaust (to alert the public), the entire car was maintained as it left the factory.
