The new city car Ford KA+ is the brand's latest proposal for the A-segment. According to the brand, interior space, driving dynamics and fuel savings at an affordable price are the key points of these models.
Ford has just presented a new proposal for the urban segment: it's called Ford KA+, it has five doors and five passenger seats, all compressed into less than four meters in length.Positioning itself in Ford's range of small models – like the Ford Fiesta – the KA+ is a new alternative for European buyers looking for a small, stylish, well-equipped and quality model at an affordable price.
‘Practical’ is the middle name of Ford's new city dweller. It offers practical everyday features such as 270 liters of luggage space (enough to accommodate two large suitcases), a 60/40 folding rear seat and 21 stowage spaces for small items arranged throughout the cabin.

Aesthetically, it is inspired by Ford's latest design language and as such presents itself with its distinctive raised trapezoidal grille and extended headlamps. All KA+ derivatives are finished with chrome accents on the front grille, along with body-color bumpers, door handles and rear-view mirrors.
As for the engines, the new KA+ features a new and efficient 1.2 liter Duratec petrol block, with 70 or 85hp of power, combined with a five-speed manual transmission. The combined average consumption is around 5.0 l/100 km.

Interested parties can select between two levels of standard equipment for the KA+, one for the 70 hp derivative and the other for the 85 hp variant, both of which share air conditioning, an infotainment system where you can connect your smartphone through the system AppLink and speed limiters. As standard, all KA+s come with comprehensive standard equipment, including electric front windows and mirrors, remote-controlled door closers, six-airbag security system, ESP and tilt start assistance.NOT TO BE MISSED: Think you can drive? When choosing the 85 hp proposal, there is also the possibility to opt for a wide range of options, including: automatic air conditioning, leather steering wheel with cruise control, heated front seats, DAB audio system, rear parking sensors , tinted and power rear windows, electrically heated and folding mirrors and 15-inch alloy wheels. Ford's new city car is available for order, with prices starting at €10,670 in Portugal.
