The Ferrari FXX K has just been unveiled. It will be released next year and will only be available to very exclusive customers. It will cost 3 million Euros but will be in the custody of Ferrari.
Known until today as LaFerrari XX, the Italian brand finally revealed the first images of the Ferrari FXX K. A model that belongs to the exclusive Ferrari XX program, that is, it will not enter competitions nor will it be approved for use on public roads. Your purpose is another. It will be a “model laboratory”, where Ferrari will test and develop new systems and technologies.
The letter K is a reference to the KERS system, an energy regeneration system used by the brand in the Formula 1 world championship and, more recently, also in a production model: the Ferrari LaFerrari.
As with its predecessor – the Ferrari “Enzo” FXX – all customers who have the opportunity to be invited to join the limited guest list of the XX program will not be able to use the car whenever they feel like it. The Ferrari FXX K will always be in the custody of the Italian brand, and will only run on track at events that the brand decides. There are those who put forward an amount around 3 million euros for the acquisition of this FXX K.
Compared with the "conventional" Ferrari LaFerrari, the FXX K delivers a total of 1050hp, that is, more than 86hp. The atmospheric V12 engine delivers 860hp while the electric motor is responsible for the remaining 190hp of power. More than 60hp is debited by the V12 engine thanks to several internal changes to the engine, namely in the intake, distribution and elimination of the exhaust silencers.
