The new element of the Bavarian family, the 2 Series, has already been introduced. It is the beginning of a new chapter for BMW: we present the BMW 2 Series to you!

After the obvious success of the coupé versions of the BMW 1 Series, the Bavarian brand came to the conclusion that this version was sufficiently different from the one that was in its genesis and decided to make the two autonomous. This is how the BMW 2 Series comes about, a model that is a concentration of all the brand's values in ways that are more contained both in size and… in price.

On social networks and in the main forums of the «propeller brand» the model is already successful. Now it's time to wait and see if this interest is replicated in the commercial success of the new BMW 2 Series.

As we said before, the new 2 Series is an update to the range formerly known as the 1 Series Coupé, thus giving each Series its particular type of vehicle, similarly to what has already been done with the BMW 3 Series Coupé, now BMW 4 Series .

The BMW 2 Series will be slightly larger than its predecessor, but it now promises to have a character of its own. The sporty and attractive image promises to attract even more young people to the Bavara brand, but the big promise will be under the hood, with the much-acclaimed 3-liter N55 bi-turbo engine with 326 hp and 450 Nm of torque.

A motorization that will allow the BMW M235i , combined with the 8-speed automatic transmission, reach 0-100km/h in just 4.9 seconds. This machine thus replaces the epic BMW 1 M Coupé and promises to break the hearts of the most indecisive, as it inaugurates a new stylistic image, which, honestly, is much prettier than the previous model. Sorry, the most passionate…

All powertrains are derived from a 2-litre, 4-cylinder block with TwinPower Turbo technology.

Once rear-wheel drive has been preserved, the promise of driving fun remains assured. In terms of equipment, BMW has already got us used to expensive extras and this model will be no exception. In terms of comfort there is not much to say, comfortable and ergonomic seats with good lumbar support are expected.

The rear space now has more space and is comfortable enough for short to medium trips. The console is well reformulated and is very similar to new BMW’s such as the 3 and 4 Series. Dates or sale prices for this new model have not yet been released, but as soon as they are available we will be happy to disclose them.
