The teams cover different branches of engineering but not only that, cost control and resource management are as crucial as winning endurance races.

Stuttgart Engineering University already held a Guinness world record for Formula Student in 2012, with a time from 0 to 100km/h in just 2.68s. Shortly thereafter, the Zurich University of Engineering claimed a new record with a time of 1.785sec from 0 to 100km/h.

The German students that make up the Green Team, did not give up and set a new world record for the Guinness, with a fantastic time of 1.779s from 0 to 100km/h, with their single seater equipped with 4 25kW electric motors , it's 136 horsepower for just 165kg of weight in a car with a power-to-weight ratio of 1.2kg/hp and a top speed of 130km/h.
