Renault 5 Maxi Turbo & Co. in Goodwood

Anonim

As is well known, the year 2016 marks the return of Renault to the Formula 1 World Championship. In honor of the models that were part of the brand's motorsport history, Renault has prepared an authentic French fleet to invade the land owned by Lord March , in Great Britain.

Thus, several Renault models – from the old glories of the past to the concepts and current models in the range – will be present at the Goodwood Festival. In addition to the new Twingo GT – manual transmission, rear-wheel drive and 110 horsepower – and Clio RS16 – a prototype that celebrates the 40th anniversary of the Renault Sport -, we will find in Goodwood the historic Renault 5 Maxi Turbo, originally developed in 1985 to finish with the hegemony of Lancia.

The highlight goes to the Renault Type AK, a car produced 110 years ago (!) and which came out victorious in the first Grand Prix organized at Le Mans. This and other models will be on display at the Goodwood Festival, which runs from June 24th to 26th. And we'll be there…
