This model, with chassis number CSX 200, belonged to Carroll Shelby himself – creator of the brand – until 2012, a date that was marked by his death. He was 89 years old.
For the time being, there is still no initial bid price. It will likely dethrone the record set by the 1968 Ford GT40, which was also auctioned off at Pebble Beach for approximately €10 million.
