Land Rover Discovery celebrates 25 years of existence with the launch of a special edition.
Land Rover did not want to miss the 25th anniversary of Discovery and for that reason, it has just launched the Land Rover Discovery XXV Special Edition, a commemorative version with reinforced equipment, to celebrate the quarter century of a model that brought a new way of looking at TT.
It all started 25 years ago, when the first Discovery left Plymouth in the UK, it was then 1989. A time where luxury and comfort on off-road vehicles was not yet democratized. But Discovery came to change this paradigm, in a proposal more accessible than the Range Rover, and that would make life dark for its main competitors, such as the Mitsubishi Pajero and the Toyota Land Cruiser.
For the 25th anniversary special version, Land Rover offers 4 colors: Causeway grey; black Santorini; white Fuji; and silver Indus. Some elements, such as trims, mirror covers and grilles, were finished in “Narvick black”, in contrast to the side grilles and mudguards in “Atlas black”. In this special edition of Discovery, the logos received the current touch of the brand and even the wheels are new.
Inside, the finishes are equal to the level of HSE equipment, ie the top, excluding the Autobiography customization level, with details that highlight the commemorative version, on the dashboard, door panels and instrument panel, covered in "Windsor leather" .
