Bentley Mulsanne: 3 versions, 3 distinct personalities

The three versions of the Bentley Mulsanne were presented in Geneva and filled the hall with revival and refinement.

The Bentley Mulsanne was presented at the Swiss event and, for the first time, the brand based in Crewe, England, offered us three very different variants. The big news is the Extended Wheelbase version, which represents an increase in the wheelbase, significantly improving space and comfort on board – a model that will certainly be very successful in China, a market where long versions are very much in demand.

The Bentley Mulsanne Speed, meanwhile, is the sportier version. Its 537hp of power and 1100Nm of maximum torque allow for a glorious (and comfortable) sprint from 0-100km/h in just 4.9 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 305km/h.

All versions of Bentley Mulsanne have been changed. Revised front and rear bumper, redesigned front and an imposing new grille, are the main modifications. Inside the cabin, the changes immediately take us to an ode to luxury: redesigned seats, glass gearshift handle, 24 leather colors to choose from and a new 8-inch infotainment system with a 60GB hard drive.

If the Bentley Mulsanne Extended Wheelbase is not spacious enough, Mulliner – a division of the British brand – solves it. The Bentley Mulsanne Grand Limousine (also presented in Geneva) is one meter longer and 79mm taller than the regular version. This model also has four opposite rear seats, for the occupants to sit facing each other.
