Peugeot 508 RXH gets Italian touch

Anonim

Carrozzeria Castagna presented its latest creation, a modified Peugeot 508 RXH. The tradition of Italian bodybuilders in a French model.

Even the most common car is entitled to a touch of exclusivity. This was the principle applied by Carrozzeria Castagna in the transformation of the Peugeot 508 RXH. The colors chosen for the exterior were an olive green and a matte burgundy red, separated by a thin piece of wood that runs from the corners of the headlights to the taillights. To give the French van a more opulent look, the Italian house's designers have increased the wheel arches.

If the differences are notorious on the outside, on the inside they were equally extensive. The interior was covered from top to bottom with new colors, using materials such as brown leather and Alcantara, textured seams and titanium accents.

The Italians did not touch the mechanics, and the 508 RXH still employs the hybrid system allied to the 2 liter HDi turbo diesel block of 200 horsepower, with the heat engine giving life to the front wheels and the electric motor located in the rear helping, debiting power exclusively on the rear axle.
