From today until the 16th of January, Eurosport will broadcast daily at 7:30 pm and 10:00 pm , the best moments of the 38th edition of the ‘Dakar’, the world's premier off-road race. The ultimate challenge for men and machines, but at the same time an adventure painted by breathtaking landscapes.The “itinerary” for the 14-day trip between Buenos Aires and Rosario goes through Argentina and Bolivia, after Chile and Peru have given up.

In cars, Carlos Sousa (Mitsubishi ASX) is once again the main representative of the colors of the Portuguese flag. The Portuguese pilot (accompanied by Paulo Fiúza) is looking for his 12th “Top 10” in 17 appearances. On motorcycles, the national fleet's aspirations are different: Paulo Gonçalves (Honda), Hélder Rodrigues (Yamaha) and Ruben Faria (Husqvarna), are all looking for a first victory after having achieved podiums in the past.
Note also to Filipe Palmeiro who sails the Chilean Boris Garafulic (Mini). Mário Patrão (Honda) and Bianchi Prata (KTM) who return to fulfill the tough motorcycle race and José Martins (Renault) who is the only Portuguese in the trucks.
