Unveiled at the Brussels Motor Show last year, the Renault Clio E-Tech and the Renault Captur E-Tech now reach the Portuguese market.
As far as the Clio E-Tech is concerned, it “marries” a 1.6 l gasoline engine with two electric motors powered by a battery with a 1.2 kWh capacity.
The final result is 140 hp of power, a consumption between 4.3 and 4.4 l/100 km, emissions between 98 and 100 g/km (WLTP cycle) and the possibility to travel in 100% electric mode up to at 70/75 km/h.

The Renault Captur E-Tech, on the other hand, features a plug-in hybrid system that combines the same 1.6 liters of the Clio E-Tech with an electric motor powered by a 10.4 kWh battery and a second electric motor consisting of a High-Voltage Generator Alternator.
With 158 hp of combined power, the Captur E-Tech allows you to travel up to 50 km in 100% electric mode on a WLTP cycle and 65 km on WLTP City cycle. It can even reach a top speed of 135 km/h using only the power of electrons.
