Jürgen Stackmann, Executive President of SEAT, yesterday presented the Seat Leon Cross Sport Concept in Frankfurt. An adventure model based on the Seat Leon Cupra.

According to the brand, the Seat Leon Cross Sport Concept guarantees the performance of a compact sports car with the silhouette of a two-door coupé. And at the same time, it combines it all with the versatility of electronically controlled all-wheel drive and a greater ground clearance, 41 millimetres. Thus, its attractive design stands out for its perfect proportions and well-defined lines, with high standards of precision and quality.

In his speech at the Volkswagen Group meeting, Jürgen Stackmann said: “The SEAT Leon family is not only incredibly successful, it is also exceptionally multifaceted. With the Leon Cross Sport, we test a new idea: the performance of the Leon CUPRA in a vehicle with all-road capabilities. The Leon Cross Sport Concept is therefore the perfect match for the brand and for a young and multifaceted lifestyle. And as a two-door compact, this crossover fits well in the urban environment – in the urban jungle.”

Like all current Seats, the Leon Cross Sport is equipped with the latest generation of connectivity. Smartphones from different manufacturers and platforms (Apple iOS, Android, MirrorLink) can be easily paired with the vehicle system using the SEAT FullLink connection. In addition, the most innovative driver assistance systems such as Adaptive Cruise Control with Front Assist, a specially calibrated Stability Control, traffic sign recognition, progressive steering and lane assistance.
