The third edition of the Spanish monobrand trophy starts at the Estoril Autodrome on 23 April.

In order to intensify its long commitment to motor racing, the Spanish brand will return the Seat Leon Eurocup to some of the best European circuits, in a competition divided into seven countries. On the starting grid will be the Seat Leon Cup Racer, a car specially developed to provide an even faster performance in the new single-brand trophy season.

The Cup Racer benefits from a 2.0 TSI engine with 330 hp and a maximum torque of 400 Nm, very close to the block that equips the Seat Leon Cupra. In addition, Seat Sport offers a second version with sequential gearbox to replace the DSG, specified for the requirements of the TCR and endurance racing, for example on the Nürburgring (Germany).

“We are looking forward to the start of the next season. Seeing, hearing and feeling the enthusiasm of Seat fans on the slopes is a very immersive experience. And we are ready to offer them again the best sensations of motor racing”, said Matthias Rabe, Vice President of Seat SA.
