In order to celebrate the partnership between Mercedes and Petronas in F1, the Stuttgart-based manufacturer has launched a limited edition of the compact sports car A45 AMG. The Mercedes A45 AMG Petronas Green Edition will be limited to just 30 copies, only available for the Japanese market.
Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 although not the most successful F1 team, has been showing a certain consistency of results. In order to celebrate this partnership between the German manufacturer and the oil company, Mercedes launched a limited edition, called Mercedes A45 AMG Petronas Green Edtion, based on the A45 AMG Edition 1.
The Mercedes A45 AMG Petronas Green Edition, as the name implies, comes with several details in green, from the green edges on the 19-inch wheels in black, to many other details, whether on the outside or inside: on the outside, the highlight goes mainly to the various decals, located at the level of the front bumper and on the sides, accompanied by the phrase “AMG Performance Studio”, as well as on the side skirts and the various aerodynamic appendages present in the Edition 1 version; inside there are few differences compared to the Edition 1 version, with the exception of some green contours on the steering wheel, seats, center console and even the floor mats. The interior, both in this edition and in the Edition 1 version, is mostly covered with Alcantara.
In terms of engine, this limited edition Mercedes A45 AMG remains in the same block 2.0 Turbo of 360 hp and 450 Nm and the same 7-speed DCT gearbox. The Mercedes A45 AMG Petronas Green Edition will have only 30 copies produced, all of them available exclusively on the Japanese market.
