… and assumes itself as a true SUV. The French model abandoned the old ways "halfway" between an SUV and a people carrier and is more muscular and dynamic in this new generation.

The new generation of the Peugeot 3008 marks the arrival of the French model in an expanding SUV segment, bigger and more diversified. More modern and now with a well-defined architecture, the new model of the Lion brand presents itself with renewed arguments to face its rivals.

But what arguments are these?

On the outside, the brand bet on a dynamic and balanced design, which distances itself from the previous model and highlights the obvious – it is an SUV . As such, the Peugeot 3008 incorporates all the characteristics inherent to this type of silhouette: a more vertical front section, a long, horizontal bonnet and a high waistline. From the protections around the vehicle to the roof bars, the Peugeot 3008 mixes versatility with sophistication.

The clean, modern look extends to the rear, where the highlight goes to the glossy black horizontal band that integrates opalescent LED lights divided into three identifiable day and night “claws” that are part of the design signature of the Peugeot.

At 4.45 m in length, the new model is 8 cm longer than its predecessor, an increase that provides a greater share of living space and greater luggage capacity (520 l). The motorized opening and closing of the tailgate (“Easy Open”) is done with a simple gesture of standing under the rear bumper.

Despite the increase in proportions, the total weight of the set was reduced by 100 kg – to the benefit of consumption, passive safety and performance – thanks to better optimization of materials.

Interior also evolved

Inside, the Peugeot 3008 integrates the 2nd generation of the i-Cockpit. Thanks to the configurable 12.3-inch instrument panel and the 8-inch touchscreen placed in the center of the dashboard, this technology reduces as much as possible the number of “physical” buttons, providing a more intuitive user experience and allowing the user to operate. driver focus on what really matters: driving.
