Porsche: Project Kahn's touches up the Panamera

We rarely like the aesthetic kits that some preparers "cook" for our cars, this is the exception to the rule...

Just look at what it has become, the one that is considered the “ugly duckling” of the Porsche range. Widely recognized for its dynamic skills, the Porsche Panamera has also gained the reputation of being the House of Stuttgart car with less well-produced lines.

Knowing that fact – and assuming that part of the buyers of this car are not as conservative as the design that Porsche lent to the Panamera – several car personalization houses have dedicated themselves to launching aesthetic kits for the Panamera. Some with good taste, others failed to transform the poor car into a poor relative of the cars used by Power-Rangers in the 90's.

Fortunately, it seems that this is not the case. Project Kahn’s went to work and the result is what you can see in the photos. A kit that lends a lot of sport to the model without going into exaggerations.

It is worth noting the expansion of the model, achieved using new sills and complemented with new, more aggressive bumpers. As expected, two larger ailerons were also installed and the windows were darkened. The rims also followed the same path as the ailerons and saw their size grow from a “modest” 19″ to 22″!

Inside, the recipe was a little softer. Only the seats and other upholstery, as well as the dials, received Project Kahn’s attention. Everything else remained unchanged.

In the field of performance, following the old maxim “you can't move in a good recipe”, the exhaust line was only changed to lend the Panamera a more powerful voice, and a new suspension was mounted in order to lower the model by a few centimeters.

The result is what you can see, say of your justice:
